Laptops by Major is a program developed by RamTech, in collaboration with academic departments at URI. The program is designed to provide students with an appropriate computer recommendation based on their major. RamTech recommends Apple or Dell computers because RamTech has a service contract with both companies. Therefore, RamTech can help students with these devices in the event they stop working.
