Service Center

The recently renovated Service Center is home to our team of certified technicians whose goal is to serve the URI community in resolving technological issues. We primarily perform hardware maintenance and repairs on laptops and desktops, but are ready to apply our expertise to solve any issue you may have with your devices. As both an Apple and Dell Authorized Service Center, we perform repairs that meet the rigorous expectations of current manufacturer's standards. Should you need assistance with your devices, we are at your service.

RAMCare is our premier in-store support warranty to provide students and their families with the peace of mind that technology related issues will be covered for the duration of the academic year. Get unlimited access to technical support and services for your Mac or PC, right here on campus!

Accidental Damage Protection

Consumer Priority Service (CPS) is a 4-year accidental protection plan for your laptop. Features include:

  • Coverage for Drops

  • Coverage for Manufacturer Defects
  • Coverage at URI and at Home

Apple Authorized Service Provider

RamTech is the sole Apple Authorized Service Provider serving South County, Rhode Island. We work directly with Apple to provide excellence in service for both in-warranty and out-of-warranty hardware and software claims for desktop and laptop products. Regardless of whether an Apple computer is purchased through RamTech or not, we will service it.

Dell Certified Repair Center

RamTech also provides in-warranty support for all Dell desktop and notebook products. Regardless of the place of purchase, if a Dell computer is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will work directly with Dell to provide solutions for our customers.

Out of warranty products

RamTech is dedicated to servicing all makes and models of desktop and laptop products regardless of place of purchase or active warranty status. If a product is not covered by the manufacturer, RamTech will provide a diagnosis and repair quotation for a fee of $35.
